Pay attention to food labels, particularly ingredient lists. Here are some commonly used names for sugar you will find hidden in many foods. Corn syrup, dextrose, fructose, galactose, honey, maltose, maltodextrin, rice syrup, sucrose, fruit concentrate, high-fructose corn syrup and invert sugar.
